newsletter created

So I now have a newsletter. First of many to come. Got any ideas...let me know.
Want the pdf version, just send an email. Thanks.

Welcome one and all!!!

Welcome to the first of many I hope, issues of CAMMO. This newsletter will have content for the tread head-of-heart. There might be some other content thrown in for those that have split modeling personalities. But whatever is your level of expertise or interest, all are welcome.

What is CAMMO?
CAMMO is a SIG (Special Interest Group) in association with IPMS/USA. A SIG is merely a group of modelers that share a common interest, in this case, armored vehicles.
CAMMO is dedicated to modeling anything armored; soft skinned; artillery or wheeled vehicles, and not the one with a hood scoop.
Although, if you do bring a car kit to a gathering…we certainly will accept all targets.
CAMMO Membership

Simple! Obviously you found this through IPMS/USA website or the Journal, so just send me a contact and you’re all set. There, painless and simple. And to the NSA geek reading this…have a nice day.
To contact me, my email address is: cammoleader@gmail.com

Identify the vehicle?
Send your answer to cammoleader@gmail.com

Still Alive

Still alive and trying to build something.

However, I am going to WPAFB during the Doolittle Raider's 70th Anniversary. Will be taking lots of photos and meeting the last five living Raiders. Will be a very memorable time.

Posting pics soon.

1/8 scale Leopard 2A

Got plans off of a seller on Ebay to build your very own 1/8 scale Leopard 2A MBT. The tank or monster if you will, is designed for R/C building. But, it can also be made into a terrific static model, though incredibly large. From cannon tip to aft end it is nearly 47 inches long. This might just be a extreme long term project.

2011 Club Affiliation

January will mark the new IPMS affiliation for CAMMO. I will be joining the Lorain County IPMS. A nice club filled with builders and no politics.
